Job Description:
- A seasoned AEM developer with at least 4+ years of any industry experience.
- Experienced in handling manual migration to AEM from other CMS platforms
- Strong hand on experience of Components, Templates, Taxonomy, metadata management, Forward and Reverse Replication, Workflows, Content Publishing and unpublishing, Tagging, Deployment (Maven) and automated Content migration/ planning.
- Experience of Migrating content from one legacy system to AEM
- Develop and oversee OSGI bundles, AEM templates, HTL/Sightly components and services, AEM launches, workflows, localization features, AEM Mobile and Forms applications and the AEM DAM.
- Design, Develop & Deploy AEM component models that will be used to construct digital platforms for both web and mobile for global enterprises.
- Streamline components and templates to work across multiple digital properties.
- Strong knowledge on various AEM modules like Web Content Management (WCM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Multi Site Manager (MSM), Personalization, Social Collaboration (SoCo), Tagging, Marketing Campaign Management (MCM), Replication Agents, Environment Configuration including dispatcher, rewrite configuration for SEO requirements etc
- Exposure in all phases of SDLC across dev, unit testing, & prod support following Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
- Able to translate client requirements into functional and technical designs & device the best-in-class solutions & create end-to-end specs for implementation.
- Ensure implementation of coding best practices to optimize page load time, performance, security and scalability of the entire application.
- Experience with integrating AEM/CQ5 with other products and vendors.
- Must: Good understanding on UI technologies like PHP, JQuery, Java Script, HTML 5, CSS, Pearl/Curl.
- Must: Good understanding of backend technologies like Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries, and JSTL skills, combined with a good understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
- Must: Deep understanding of all AEM building blocks including templates, components, touch UI dialogs etc., and AEM development
- Must: Deep understanding of Sightly (HTL), Sling Models, Queries, OSGi services and components
- Must: Deep understanding of the AEM Sites deployment, Dispatcher Configuration, Clustering
- Must: Deep understanding in Java, web development experience, other Content Management system experience
- Templating Languages (HTL)
- Data Formats (XML, JSON)
- Query Languages Web Servers and Caching (Apache, Dispatcher)
- Version Control (git)
- Good communication skills
- Capable to provide technical leadership
- Analytical thinking
